GUJRANWALA: Angry students in Gujranwala broke the board office’s entrance door and damaged the office. The students were annoyed over wrong results that were published online, Geo News reported Thursday.
According to sources, the first year students were protesting against wrong results that were published on the internet.
The online system of Gujranwala Board of Intermediate Education had problems that resulted in publishing wrong results. Due to which the students attacked the board office and blocked Sialkot road.
Police resorted to baton charge that agitated the students and as a result students locked the board office staff and burnt the record.
The protest is still continuing in Gujranwala.
On the other hand, students in Gujrat are also protesting at GTS road against wrong results and are staging a sit-in
